Do you feel like your to-do list is never ending?
Do you get to the end of your day and feel overwhelmed? Are you trying to do everything perfectly, and you end up doing nothing?
You are not the only one! Many of us are under false impression that perfection is attainable and required. Planning every detail, thinking about all possible outcomes, and then you get to the end of your day and you find out that you haven’t moved anywhere.
Often we tend to overthink, over plan, and over analyze because we are scared that if we don’t do something perfectly, we fail.
I personally found out that in life, it is better to set a goal, write down the plan, and then just do it.
You won’t get anywhere by over planning. It isn’t about being perfect, it is about doing your best in each and every moment. Just do your best and take the leap.
If it works, great!! And if it doesn’t? Well, you will know better for next time. Failures are necessary parts of our lives, they help us learn, grow, and become better.
Without action there is no progress. And without progress, there is no sense of fulfillment. Let’s be honest, it is the progress in our lives that keeps us going and hungry for more, not the achievement. Achievement will make you content for a very short period of time. It will satisfy you in the moment and then you will ask yourself, what now?
So don’t be afraid to jump, it is the only way to learn how to fly!
