Remember You Are Mortal

It is funny we have to be reminded of it.
However, too often we live our lives like there is no ending.
We worry about trivialities and get mad about little things that
really don’t matter.
When you realize how fragile your life is you will see things differently.
It doesn’t matter who you are or what you do, somewhere else in the
world there is someone who is worse off than you.
Someone who would do anything for the chance of more freedom,
better health, more time to spend with loved ones, little
more time to be here.
You life can change from one minute to another.
You can be diagnosed with terminal illness, you can have a bad car
accident, you can be the victim of a crime..
I’m not saying this to be negative or a downer, but to remind you that the
lives we live have expiration dates.
We have all heard the stories about people who went through near death
experiences, or those who overcame serious illness.
It changed them and their perspective on life.
Luckily, you don’t have to go through the worst possible scenarios to
start appreciating your life.
You need to only remember that you are mortal.
Stop worrying so much, it won’t do any good for you.
Stop stressing about things that are out of your control.
Remember that every new day you are getting is a precious gift that
might or might not be taken away from you at any given moment.
What would change in your life or in your behavior if you were suddenly diagnosed with a terminal illness?
Have you ever faced death in your life?
When any of your loved ones passed away, did it change you?
