You will die

I was just watching video from Gary V. I love his style because he is very inspiring, provoking, and himself. Watching his journey gives me hope to think that you can be successful while being a good person and living by example.
This video was taken when one of his fans stopped him when he was in the car waiting fot the red light.
This lady asked him: “Really quick, what are the three most inspirational words. You can use only three words.”

Gary V thought about it for a second and then he replied:
“You will die!”

And it is so true! Just think about it for a moment. Most people act as if they will live twice.
They don’t take care of their health, body, spirit, or loved ones. They are postponing their happiness.

People go through their lives just existing. Just going through the motions, just getting through the day. Just doing what has be done.

Thinking that achieving some of their goals will make them happy. When they finish school, when they get the job, the promotion, when they get their dream car, partner, etc. When this and that happen, then they will feel happy.

What they don’t realize that in the meantime, their life is happening!

Life goes so quick, and we never know how much time we have left on earth.

In life, it really isn’t about achieving something, but enjoying the progress. Being proud of every small achievement and really looking at our life with the right perspective. Because even if you get there, and achieve what you want, soon afterwards you will be think “What’s next. Is this it?”

It is necessary to have goals in life. To make plans. To keep going and pushing through the resistance of each obstacle. However, while you are pushing through you also have to realize that your life is happening.

Take time to look around you. Take time to take care of yourself, your health, time to breath, time to love, time to learn, grow, and express gratitude.

Stop for a moment and look around you! The world is changing constantly and so are you. Are you letting the life pass by you worrying, living in anxiety, and waiting for this and that to happen?

Until you learn to be aware of yourself and your present, the future will never make you happy. It will only make you anxious.

Take a deep breath and look at your life right now. If you know you are going to die tomorrow, will you still be doing the same things you are doing right now?

Because the truth is that you are going to die and you never know when and what will be the last moment here.
So, stop acting like you are living twice and live right now, right here.

Live more, love more, appreciate more, and give more.
Because sometimes more IS better. Don’t you think?
